prolongs ISO certificate Recently
SBW underwent its annual ECAS audit for the ISO
9001:2000 certificate. The audit went well and
the certificate has been successfully prolonged.
SBW has had the ISO 9001-certificate since1997;
as the first tissue culture company in The Netherlands. In
the first years the ISO-system (ISO 9001:1994)
was mainly concerned with duplication of the production
process, with the new ISO 9001:2000 the continuous
improvement also a norm component.

had already made headway in this area by producing
virus tested source material in 1995. In cooperation
with the former NAKB this led to the implementation
of the Naktuinbouw Elite ® -system. Since
2002 SBW is recognised Naktuinbouw company. Participation
in this system means that SBW may produce SEE-plants.
These plants are tested for all diseases known
to infect these plants, and are homogenous and
fount to be true to type according to the Naktuinbouw
specification and control. Plants that have this
Naktuinbouw Elite ® -certificate can be supplied
world wide..
SBW
is recognised by NAK Agro for the production of
certified potato plants. Also SBW is authorised
to put plants that are imported from outside the
EU into quarantine. The customer imports the in
vitro material; SBW puts it into quarantine and
organises the PD tests. Annual audits are also
carried out by Naktuinbouw, NAK Agro en PD at
SBW. |
